In another step on the road to 1984, the following devices were announced today:

A Digital recorder that makes recording and archiving telephone conversations trivial – encodes to MP3 on the fly for storage on an SD Card.

A personal DNA tester that can work with up to 4 samples at a time.

I’d imagine these devices are probably illegal in quite a few countries…
